PGA SOMPO Insurance Corporation celebrated a significant achievement at the Insurance Asia Awards 2024 for its efforts to make insurance more accessible across diverse markets in the Philippines. The Company's strategic focus on expanding reach through innovative partnerships has played a key role in this success.

The Company earned accolades in two categories: (1) Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year - Philippines and (2) Strategic Partnership of the Year - Philippines. These recognitions underscore PGA SOMPO's commitment to innovation and its success in broadening its influence and impact across the region. 

The Insurance Asia Awards celebrate companies that are redefining industry standards through innovation and are making a difference in the lives of their customers. PGA SOMPO's wins highlight its dedication to excellence and its ongoing mission to enhance the insurance landscape in the Philippines.

PGA SOMPO held its team building event from June 29 to July 1, 2024 in Bohol. The 3-day event aimed to strengthen unity, collaboration, and a deeper connection to the Company’s core values.

It was also an opportunity for employees to take a break from work and bond with each other while exploring Bohol’s famous attractions.  Likewise, the event strengthened the team spirit and out of the box thinking as groups deal with different gamified challenges.

The pastel-themed fellowship night featuring the search for Mr. and Ms. Pantropiko, a lively cross-dress competition provided an unusual twist to the night. With six pairs vying for the title, it highlighted the Company’s core values in an extraordinary way.  Mr. Terukazu Matsubara, PGA Sompo’s President and CEO also shared the Company’s goals and the importance of being proactive.

The event has clearly afforded everyone with unforgettable memories and a renewed sense of belonging and connection as they return to work. Truly, it was a successful team building.
