HR Assistant

Job description: 

  1. Handles recruitment and onboarding activities including but not limited to the following: 

  • sources applicants; 

  • reviews and screens resumes for endorsement to HR Officer; 

  • arranges and coordinates interview schedules; 

  • conducts interviews for assigned staff positions; 

  • monitors timely completion of the pre-employment requirements; and 

  • prepares Welcome Kits for new employees. 

2. Performs the following relative to the administration of employee benefits: 

  • enrollment and termination of life insurance, personal accident, and healthcare coverage; 

  • searching for uniform supplier and completion of other logistical requirements (i.e., measurement, delivery, alteration); 

  • completion of Annual Physical Examination; 

  • release and monitoring of required documents related to financial assistance; 

  • monitoring and release of Medical Allowance; and 

  • release of Clothing Subsidy and monitoring of the submission of the required supporting documents. 

3. Attends to employees’ requests including but not limited to the following: 

  • Certification of Members’ Contribution to SSS, HDMF or Philhealth as requested by employees; and 

  • Certification of Employment as requested by employees. 

4. Facilitates employees’ registration to external trainings, processing of payment requests   and completion of Professional Development and Training Contract when necessary. 

5. Creates posters and other materials related to HR announcements and activities. 

6. Maintains integrity and confidentiality of HR records and files. 

7. Monitors completion of Employment Clearance of resigning/retiring employees. 

8. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time. 

 

 

Job skills and requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably Psychology, Human Resource Management or other related fields 

  • Preferably with at least 1-year related working experience 

  • Knowledge on sourcing techniques on different job sites and social media 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation 

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time-management skill 

  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential matters and information
