Insurance Commission issues PGA Sompo Insurance Corporation’s Certificate of Authority

The Insurance Commission, led by Commissioner Dennis B. Funa and Deputy Commissioner Ferdinand George Florendo, has recently issued a Certificate of Authority to PGA Sompo Insurance Corporation (the “Company”). The same, as shown in the photo, was received by the Company’s President and CEO, Mr. Fumihiko Harada together with Vice-President, Atty. Celestino L. Ang and VP and CFO, Ms. Maria Rosalina T. Coyiuto.

The Certificate of Authority, valid for a period of three (3) years or from 2019 up to 2021, confirmed that the Company has complied with all the regulatory requirements. It conferred power and authority to the Company to continuously conduct its business in accordance with the existing rules and regulations governing the Non-Life Insurance business.
