PGA SOMPO Illuminates Hope at the Electric Night Run 2024

On May 18, 2024, PGA SOMPO joined the “Electric Night Run for Hope” not just as a participating company but also as a sponsor and the event’s official insurance partner.  Organized by JCI Manila, the event was more than just a race; it was a unique celebration of fitness, fun, and philanthropy combined into one.

The event aims to raise funds for the improvement of the Night Shelter of Hospicio De San Jose in Manila, a facility which provides an overnight refuge for homeless individuals and families.

All runners were covered by PGA SOMPO’s Personal Accident insurance, allowing them to run along a vibrantly colored course with peace of mind. As a sponsor, PGA SOMPO organized games and awarded prizes to lucky runners.

A total of 68 PGA SOMPO employees and their household members participated in race distances ranging from 1km, 3km, 5km, and 10km. It was indeed an unforgettable evening of running, entertainment, and community spirit.
