Reviews, assesses new or renewal accounts, and submits recommendation for Underwriters’ approval, including facultative placements if with reinsurance support; generates, prepares and releases Renewal Notices per assigned line of business.
Calculates premiums for new and/or renewal accounts as requested by Marketing Department per assigned line of business.
Provides assistance in the completion of compliance and audit requirements both from internal and external requests.
Provides data necessary for the preparation of statistical reports per assigned line of business in compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies and Regional Office.
Maintains and monitors approval of accounts being handled.
Collaborate with other departments to improve and ensure that client-servicing requirements are met while management standards and goals are adhered to.
Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job skills and requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 3 years related work experience
Completed intermediate or advanced courses in non-life insurance
Preferably a licensed Underwriter in one of the major lines, i.e., Property, Marine, Casualty, Surety
