Job description:
Gathers and review information and documents to ensure processing of claims in accordance with policy conditions, clauses, and warranties.
Interpret policy coverage and determines if coverage applies to claims submitted.
Ensures fair and reasonable evaluation based on the Company's and regulating bodies' policies, procedures and guidelines.
Provides recommendation for the settlement of claims of review and approval of authorized approver in accordance with given authority limit.
Corresponds with claimants, reinsurers, brokers and business partners to achieve effective resoulution of claim issues.
Coordinates with involved units or third-party partners relative to claims investigation and negotiation.
Oversees the accuracy and timely processing of simple claims that are delegated to Claims Clerk.
Work closely with immediate superior and/or Head Claims Department in the identification and resolution of concerns of claimants.
Prepares various claims report.
Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job skills and requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree
Preferably with experience in consumer/retail insurance products such as GPA, A&H, Travel Insurance, Motorcar, and other retail products.
Preferably with 3 years of working experience in the related field;
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Demonstrated integrity and credibility
